The Akure South chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has expresses shock and sadness over the sudden passing of Ifedore local government chairman, Chief Dare Owolafe at the early hours of today, 8th June, 2023.
According to a source close to the family of the deceased confirmed that, he was still seen till yesterday night after an extensive meeting with Ifedore PDP leaders in his ibule residence. He was confirmed dead this morning after he was rushed to the hospital when we noticed some feelings that were not normal, the source discloses.
Until his sudden demise, Chief was Ifedore Party Local Government Chairman whose four (4) tenure would come to an end next year March. A committed party leader, a man of many parts whose contributions to local and grassroot politics was remarkably exceptional.
Indeed his departure is a great loss to the Ibule community, Ifedore PDP family, Akure speaking communities and Ondo State at large. With his death the tribe of quality, humble and simple men has depleted. He will sorely be missed.
