Luck has smiled on a Fast Rising Akure based hip hop artist, Oyewale Damilola Akande, also known as Oyomesi, as he was signed by Hip hop star, Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice, into his Alapomeji Ancestral records.
9nice made the announcement at a comedy show over the weekend in Akure, Ondo state capital.
Speaking with Radio Nigeria staff Reporter, Oluwatosin Ighoteguono, who was at the event, Oyomesi who could not hide his joy and excitement, thanked 9nice for signing him, adding that he would continue to do his best in dishing out good music to people’s listening pleasure.
Oyomesi, while appreciating the efforts of foremost comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, for showcasing him, urged youths never to bury their talents, but keep working hard till their talents are noticed and appreciated.
He also cautioned Nigerian youths against getting involved in any act that could tarnish their image or bring reproach to their families.
