Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu has sworn in Mrs Abimbola Salu-Hudeyin, as the Secretary to the State Government.

Mr Tayo Ayinde and Mr Gboyega Soyanwo, also took the oath of office as Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff at the well attended ceremony at the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja.

The trio are the first set of appointments of Executive Council members made by Governor Sanwo-Olu who assumed office for a second tenure.

In a remark, Governor Sanwo-olu urged the appointees to bring to bear their wealth of experience in the planning, development and implementation of State policies, programmes and initiatives aimed to enhance socio-economic growth and development of Lagos and residents.

The Governor charged them to see their appointments as a call to service for the realization of his THEMES PLUS agenda.

“Our commitment to build a sustainable future for our citizens is unshaken, our will is unwavering. We will do everything on our part to ensure that we surpass all of our successes in our first tenure. The team which Mr. Deputy Governor and myself will be putting together will ensure that every fibre we have will be put into the service of Lagos State,” Sanwo-Olu said.

Giving a vote of assurance on behalf of the three appointees, Mrs Salu-Hudeyin, promised their loyalty to the state government to fulfill the greater Lagos vision of the administration for residents to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Prior to her appointment as SSG Lagos,
Mrs Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, was the Federal Commissioner representing Lagos State in the National Population Commission, NPC.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, Speaker, Lagos Assembly, Chief Mudashiru Obasa, Awori traditional rulers, religious and political leaders as well as families and friends of the three appointees.
