Some Associates, Mourners and Friends of the Founder of DAAR Communication have reiterated the need for the Federal Government to immortalize the High Chief Raymond Dokpesi over his contribution to National Development
They made the call at a Requiem Mass in honour of Late Dokpesi held at Church of the Assumption, Asokoro, Abuja which also held in Lagos, Edo, Rivers and Adamawa Simultaneously.
The Requiem Mass had Politicians, Traditional Rulers, Religious leaders across all denominations, Friends and Fans of AIT and Ray Power Radio, established by Late Dokpesi in attendance while Security men were on stand by within and outside the venue maintaining law and order.
A former Director General, Nigeria Tourism, Mrs Omotayo Omotosho and Federal Commissioner, Code of Conduct Bureau, Mr EJ Agbonayinma said late Dokpesi had paid ultimate price for the Nation and the less Privileged.
Also, the Executive Director, Lux Tera Leadership Foundation, Reverend Father George Ehusaini said he personally benefited from the gesture of the Founder of DAAR to evangelize even beyond the Country.
In his Homily, the Parish Priest, Reverend Father Stephen Omalea described Late Raymond Dokpesi as a great, Sincere Politician, Philanthropist and Committed Catholic Faithful who used all his Resources for God and humanity.
“He was Generous to the Church, He helped us for Live Broadcast programme across the country, he had touched many lives including the less Privileged and Windows.”
According to Reverend Father Omalea death is inevitable,hence the need for everyone to get prepared by doing goods always.
The Clergyman prayed God to console the immediate family members of departed Media Founder, a fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Also, the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja Diocese, Most Reverend Ignatius Kagaima, and Emeritus Archbishop, John Cardinal Onaiyekan who all officiated and urged other well to do in the society to emulate philanthropic gesture of the Media guru.
Miss Dolapo Dokpesi on behalf of the family expressed appreciation for people who stood behind them during the grief moment.

Until his Death, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi was an Engineer of Marine, Chairman Emeritus, DAAR Communication, a Critical Stakeholders in major opposition Party, PDP.
