The Radio, Television,Theatre and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) Ondo State council has felicitated Muslim faithful on this years’ sallah celebration.
This is contained in a message jointly signed by the union’s Chairman, Kayode Olorunfemi and the Secretary, Rotimi Akande.
Eid- El Kabir is celebrated every year by Muslims all over the world in remembrance of great sacrifice and faith prophet Ibrahim exhibited by voluntarily obey Allah’s command to sacrifice his only son, Ismael to Him.
This unflinching love for Allah by prophet Ibrahim has thought all human race to have faith in Allah even at difficult situation and times like this in our nation, Nigeria. This is a time for sober reflection for both leaders and followers to show love to neighbors so as to build a better society which will translate to better country.
The union enjoins its members to have faith in God especially at this time in our national life and support this new government of president Bola Hammed Tinubu in building new Nigeria
Ondo RATTAWU also advised Muslims to continue in the teachings of Allah as contained in the holy book Al-Quran which was based on love, peace, equity, accountability,justice, with this we can build a better nation of our dreams.
The union also urge the government at all levels to cushion the effects of subsidy removal which have brought untold hardship to all Nigerians by executing program that will have direct impact on all Nigerians and provide favorable environment for business to thrive in the face of challenges our country is into,in recent times,this could be done by massive infrastructural development and economy rejuvenation.
