Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has called on the Federal Government to urgently come up with palliatives to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal on Citizens.


Archbishop Ndukuba who made the call during his Episcopal Visit to All Saint Anglican Church Wuse, Abuja said the removal of subsidy has brought up the cost of living beyond the reach of common Nigerians


According to him, most Nigerians are finding it difficult to cope thereby increasing poverty level in the country.


While commending President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for some decisions taken so far, Archbishop Ndukuba noted that new policies of the government if well implemented would reposition the nation’s economy


Most Reverend Ndukuba however appealed to the newly confirmed members of the Church and Christians in general to embark on spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and promoting peaceful coexistence in the country.


He stressed the need for Nigerians irrespective of religious affiliations to pray for the present administrations at all levels and remain committed to the unity of the country..
