Ondo State government is well disposed towards public private partnership in education sector

The Commissioner for Education, Pastor Femi Agagu made this known while inaugurating the ultramodern solar light donated by the 1991 set of St Peter’s unity secondary school Akure , old students.

Pastor Agagu represented by the zonal education officer Akure South local government, Pastor Kolawole said government was facing numerous challenges hence supports from different groups and individuals would be well appreciated.

Commending the old students, the school principal, Mrs Florence Arowosade pointed out that the solar light would reduce energy cost and improve the learning environment

The National president of the school’s old students Association, Mr Femi  Omobuwajo and members, Mr Soji Fajemidupe and Oladele Mapayi described the gesture as a way of giving back to their almamater and urged the students to make judicious use of the facility

Earlier, the diaspora representative, Mr Lekan Akinsete who encouraged the students to be focused in their academics and also implored government to improve on the educational facilities.
