The wife of the staff of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC Osogbo, Mr Isaac Adedeji, Eniola, who was abducted by some yet-to-be-identified persons suspected to be kidnapper, alongside her son, Alfred have regained freedom.
The mother and son were reportedly abducted in the Ota Efun area of Osogbo Saturday evening by some unknown people, said to be carrying arms.
According to a family member, who did not want his name mentioned, they were released Sunday evening in Ikirun, Ifelodun local Government area of the state by their abductors.
The victims were said to be coming from the Oke Baale Area of Osogbo, going to Ota Efun on a commercial motorcycle when a vehicle blocked their way and the occupants, forced them into a bus and drove them to an unknown destination.
It was learnt that after the incident was reported at the state Police Command, the mobile phone of the victim was tracked to Ikirun by the operatives.
According to report ,before police move in, the perpetrators had abandoned the victims and fled.
The woman and the son have been reunited with her husband.
The Osun Police Command spokesperson, Mrs Yemisi Opalola could not be reached as at the time of filing this report but the family member confirmed the release.
