It was a moment of celebration of life as friends, families and well wishers converged for the final burial ceremony of late retired assistant Controller of Immigration, Pa Kenneth Oyebanji Akanbi.
The colourful celebration which started on Thursday 20th July, 2023 with a Christian wake ended with a funeral service, internment and reception on Friday 21 July 2023.
Two of the sons of late Pa Akanbi, Micheal Akanbi and Gbolahan Akanbi both of Radio Nigeria Ibadan zonal station and Positive fm Akure described thier father as a role model, disciplinarian and a man who invested in his children.
Among those who graced the occasion were retired Immigration officers and members of the Radio Nigeria family.
Guests where treated to melodious tunes to round off the day.
Late retired Kenneth Oyebanji Akanbi who passed on at 80years is survived by wife, children and grand children.
