Ondo state acting governor, Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa has inaugurated the technical committee for the crafting of a 30yr development plan Tagged Ondo 2054.
The technical committee in collaboration with Government consultants would project 30years development plan for sustainable growth of the state .
Performing the ceremony in Akure, Mr Ayedatiwa charged the committee to come up with innovations that would fastrack infrastructural and human Capital Development for future generations.
The Acting Governor said the committee had six months to carry out its assignment and encouraged them to come up with tangible submissions and recommendations that would form a template of good governance for successive administrations to implement.
Earlier the commissioner for Economic planning and Budget, Mr Emmanuel Igbasan said the Ondo 2054 Agenda became necessary considering the fact that Ondo state population would be 12.7 million by 2024 and this called for future projections on infrastructure and human Capital Development.
The technical committee comprises Permanent secretaries, Directors-General Managers and two consultants from the academia
