The lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency , Mr Festus Akingbaso has bagged the Sunshine State Achievers Award in “Politics & Human Development ”
The award was organized by the Path News Magazine in Akure
The lawmaker represented at the event by one of his aides, Mr Kelvin Babalola said that the award would spur him to further add values to humanity.
” I appreciate the organizers of the Sunshine State Achievers Awards for counting me a worthy this “Politics & Human Development” Award , this is actually a further call to service , so I promise more impactful representation “, Akingbaso said
In an address, the Editor-in-chief of the News tabloid, Mr Dupson Collins explained that the award was instituted to honor outstanding sons, daughters and residents of Ondo State who had carved a niche for themselves in their field of endeavours.
He mentioned that Akingbaso was honoured having made positive impact in the lives of his constituents with quality representation.
Twenty one other outstanding personalities were honoured in different categories ranging from Politics, Forestry, Education, Humanity, Entrepreneur, Health, Journalism among others.#
