The protest called by the Nigeria Labour Congress kicks off this morning in Osun State from the Freedom Park Osogbo.
Though, the Mobilisation was not as massive as expected, but some members of ASUU, National Union of Electricity Employees and Civil Society Organisations are already on ground.
The protesters are already moving towards the popular Olaiya flyover where it is expected that others will join them.
Speaking with Radio Nigeria at the Freedom Park, Vice President of National Union of Electricity Employees , Comrade Sadiq Adewale said the protest was in response to the directive of the National leadership of NLC to resist increase in price of petrol which is making life unbearable for Nigerians.
