Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state has sworn in 18 newly appointed commissioners that will constitute the State Executive Council.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the old Council Chambers, Government House, Gusau, the state capital.
The new appointees who were experts drawn from various professions were assigned portfolios immediately after the oaths of office was administered on them by the Zamfara State Chief Judge, Justice Kulu Aliyu.
Addressing the new commissioners, Governor Lawal tasked them to redouble their efforts because they would be assessed by Key performance index to appraise their productivity in office.
