The ancient town of Alayere, in Akure North local government area of Ondo State was on friday agog as the monarch of Alayere Kingdom, Oba Adeniran Aladetoyinbo marked his first coronation anniversary.
At the event, the Atunwase of Alayere was bestowed upon Chief Idowu Omotosho while the Iyalaje of Alayere was conferred on his wife Chief Folasade Omotosho
Oba Adeniran Aladetoyinbo said the titles were informed by the antecedents of Omotosho’s family particularly to the town and humanities
Oba Aladetoyinbo appreciated the senator representing Ondo north, Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN for installing solar lights to address frequent black out in the town
Oba Aladetoyinbo who encouraged senator Adegbonmire and the new chiefs to sustain the tempo also advised well-meaning Nigerians to imbibe the feat

Responding, the newly installed Atunwase, Chief Omotosho and his wife appreciated monarch and residents of Alayere for the titles bestowed on them with a pledge to continue to impact the society positively and be good ambassadors of the ancient town
Some residents including chief Bobade Jolaade, chief Amina Ulojho and a SawMiller, Mr Sam Hujah expressed joy that Alayere town had witnessed tremendous development within the monarch’s one year on the throne
The occasion was attended by people from all walks of life including the senator’s mother, Chief Mrs Sola Adegbonmire and a chieftain of the APC, Mr Adegboyega Adedipe.
