An Akure-born indigenous entertainer who specialises in jingle production, Mr. Femi Akinola Bombo has been recognised with Global Merit Award of excellence by Prophet (Dr) Gbenga Daramola.
The award presentation took place on Monday at the Testimony Spiritual Healing Home, Eleyowo in Akure North Local government.
While presenting the award, Prophet Daramola said the honour was in recognition of Mr. Bombo’s contributions to the promotion of Akure culture and tradition, using the dialect.
Responding, Mr Bombo appreciated the clergyman for counting him worthy of the prestigious award and promised to continue to promote Akure culture and tradition.
