The onibuji of ibuji in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state, Oba Folagbade Ojo has called on sons and daughters of the community both home and in the diaspora to join hands with him in developing the town.
Oba Ojo who made the call during the celebration of a new year yam festival in his palace observed that Ibuji needed industries, tourist centres and more social amenities capable of upgrading it into an urban centre.
The monarch appealed to residents to always cooperate with the palace on any plan to develop the community especially provision of land for the establishment of industries.
Oba Ojo used the occasion of the new year celebration to pray for the peace, unity and progress of Ibuji land, Ondo state and Nigeria in general.
One of the digintaries at the event, The head, Outside broadcast and sports unit, Positive fm Akure, Mr Olasunkanmi Taiwo appreciated the efforts being made by the monarch to develop Ibuji land.
