The Kano State Government (KNSG), has suspended two Principals of French Bilingual College and Chinese Bilingual College Kwankwaso, in Madobi Local Government Area for absenteeism and negligence to duty.
The State Commissioner for Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, made the disclosure in Kano, shortly after an inspection team visited the schools, to monitor the commencement of the 2023/2024 academic session.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment of the Ministry Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
According to the statement, the inspection team led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Hajiya Kubra Imam discovered that, Students of the two colleges were not served food for yesterday night, and their breakfast was not ready up to the time of the visit.
The Commissioner expressed dismay, over what he called unconcerned attitudes shown by the two Principals and therefore directed them to hand over the School’s affairs to the new sit-in Principals and report to the ministry pending an investigation.
