Fans of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as MohBad on Tuesday stormed the streets of Akure, Ondo state capital in solidarity with the late hip hop star’s family.
The fans who wore black T-shirts staged a walk through the popular Adesida and Arakale roads to Nepa roundabout, shutting down vehicular movement entirely on one of the dual carriage lane for several hours.
They defiled the evening rain which almost marred the walk, as they walked to their final point, the Arakale motor park, chanting different songs in memory of Mohbad.
Organiser of the solidarity walk, Comrade Ogundipe Oláníyì said Mohbad’s fans in Akure decided to come out and join their voices with those of other notable Nigerians to condemn the sudden death of the singer.
Comrade Olaniyi urged Security Agencies already involved in the investigation into the death of Mohbad to do a thorough job and unravel the cause of his death with a view to getting justice for the deceased.
He however advised upcoming musicians to be wary of whom they partner in the bid to excel in their chosen field.
The walk was monitored by Security agencies to prevent any breakdown of law and order.
