………Afolabi Reassures Adamawa of Safety and Security……..

 

The Adamawa state commissioner of police, CP Afolabi Babatola has been honoured by the Northern Nigeria Student’s Forum for effective policing which has culminated in adequate security of the state.

The award of Ambassador of people for Peace, Security and Development was bestowed on the Ondo state born Police boss.

The event which took place in his Office at Police Headquarters, Yola, Adamawa state had in attendance members of the forum in their numbers.

Presenting the award, Leader of the Forum Comrade Umar D Afkawa,Msc, RNC said the gesture was in recognition of the CP’s efforts in keeping the hope of Adamawa people alive in terms of security.

Comrade Afkawa maintained that the gesture was also to encourage Officers of the command who work restlessly day and night to promote existing peace and unity amongst diverse people of the state.

He described CP Afolabi as a Students friendly commissioner of Police and applauded him for his zeal to sustain the symbol of excellent leadership and peaceful coexistence between the police and the public.

Responding, CP Afolabi who received the award of “Ambassador of people for Peace, Security and Development” with happiness, commended the Northern Nigeria Student’s Forum for maintaining its core values of promoting the rule of Law and Educational Advancement.

CP Afolabi reassured the Students of a safer society that would constantly promote peace, tranquility, and peaceful coexistence.

The Police Public Relations officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and Commander Crack Squad SP Dibal Hussein Tijjani were also presented with Award of Deligent Service.
