Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has called on the people to unite with the country’s leadership in the task of rebuilding the nation .
The governor in a news release by his chief press secretary Richard Olatunde on the occasion of the 63rd independence anniversary says that now is the time for Nigerians to demonstrate their dedication to national development and nation-building.
He encouraged Nigerians regardless of tribal affiliations, to unite in the task of rebuilding Nigeria affirming that it was through these collective efforts that the nation could realise its maximum potential.
The Ondo State governor also described the nation’s diversity as a strength which must be leveraged purposefully for growth and development.
He expressed confidence that Nigeria would overcome the current socio-economic difficulties to emerge more prosperous and stronger.
Governor Akeredolu then called on every citizen to contribute to the nation’s development and progress while fostering peace and unity in all endeavors.
