The Ojomo-in-Council has urged owners of buildings and landed property lying and being situated along Owo-Ikare road, bounded in front by Owo-Ikare road and land existed for the school for the blind in Ijebu-Owo to remain calm over an individual claiming ownership of the land.
The call followed a reported case of one, Orimadegun Osorunnaye, who pasted ownership papers on virtually all the existing buildings and landed property in the area.
Speaking on behalf of Ojomo-in-Council, Chief Tunde Ojomobori said with the situation on ground, Orimadegun is violating court order restricting him of laying claim to the said landed property.
Chief Ojomobori noted that concerned Security agencies have been notified and necessary actions are being taken.
The Ojomo-in-Council in a statement by its counsel, Mr Adebimpe Olamiteju indicated that the attention of council which include the Chief Tunde Ojomobori was brought to a caveat by Oshorunaiye Orimadegun who lost a case in suit No. HOW/7/2017 and equally sentenced to prison on 25th October 2022 for disobedience to court order has been parading a judgment without relevance to the land and that the court has adjudged him as the owner of the land.
The statement urged the property owners to disregard the said caveat and the perpetrator of the act as necessary legal actions are being taken.
