The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ondo East Local Government has passed vote of confidence on the APC leadership in the state headed by Mr Ade Adetimehin .

During a solidarity visit to the party secretariat in Akure,the party leadership in the council led by its Chairman, Mr Olamigoke Busayo Francis dissociated the executive from the activities of Chief Kelly Agboola following a purported Elders Caucus meeting.
The Ondo East leadership therefore called on the State Executive of the Party to immediately set up a Panel of enquiry to look into the matter and met out appropriate sanction.
Speaking on behalf of the APC Chairman, Mr Ade Adetimehin, the central senatorial Chairman, Mr Festus Aregbesola appreciated the local government party members for the confidence reposed in the State leadership, pledging that they would continue to work for the progress of the Party and maintain absolute Peace
