A non-governmental organization , Divine Mandate Foundation has put smiles on the faces of pupils of nine primary schools in Oba Ile in Akure North Council Area of Ondo State.

The pupils from LA primary school, St Paul, St John Anglican School, CAC Primary sch, St. Satome primary School, and Ondo State Special School were all presented with stationeries including writing materials

The programme which took place at youth center in Oba Ile was attended by head teachers of the schools and parents.

The convener, Mr Temidayo George said his passion for children motivated him to assist parents who were battling with the current economic hardship in providing some educational materials for the children.

In a remark, the royal father at the program , the Adapogun of Ipogun in Ifedore Council Area , Oba oludare ojo and olu of eleyeowo Oba Olomi Agunbiade thanked the convener for bringing joy to homes with the gesture and promised to support the NGO to expand its reach especially supporting indigent children in the rural areas

The pupils who benefited from the gesture were elated and appreciated Divine Mandate Foundation led by Mr George and pledged to make the best use of the materials and also be studious.

 

Parents on the occasion too commended the NGO for remembering children at the grassroots to support education development.
