Family and Friends have called on authorities to ensure that the killers of Chalya Grace Joel be found and brought to Book.
Chalya Joel who was murdered in Kaduna on the 18 of October 2023 when she went for a morning walk.
In a series of tributes during Her funeral service, family and friends represented by Mr. Nanlir said Justice for Chalya was Justice for all those who had been killed unjustly.
“Her Blood will not go in vain, it will be the reason such senseless killings will come to an end.”
Speaking at the funeral, Head of Corps welfare, National Youth Service Corps, Kaduna State said As at Thursday, a group of boys had been apprehended and Security was not resting on its ors to apprehend the perpetrators.
He revealed that the scheme had held several meetings with the security operatives and the state government and they were all working towards finding Justice.
Chalya was there after interned in her home town langtang North local government area of plateau state.
