The Kwara state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) has arrested seven suspects over alleged vandalisation of electric cables at Tanke area of Ilorin.
A statement by the command’s spokesman, Ayeni Olasunkanmi said two of the suspects were arrested with vandalized electrical cables .
The statement says the suspects led the patrol team to the scrap dealers spot at Oke Odo area where other five suspects were apprehended.
It expresses concern over increase in the activities of vandals in the state.
The statement appeals to the general public to ensure adequate protection of facilities provided by government.
