A 13 year old SS2 student (Names withheld) has sent an SOS to well meaning Nigerians to save her from further abuse by her father who rapes her.

 

The teenager who lives with her parents at 17 Onigbongbo street Maryland cried out to relevant authorities to come to her aid to avoid the father impregnating her.

 

The girl claimed that her father sent the mum away weeks back and decided to use her as a sex partner.

 

She narrated that in the early hours of the morning the father woke her up undressed her and had sex with her with the use of Vaseline promising to buy her things .

 

The mother of the girl, Mrs. Philip confirmed been sent away over two weeks, as her husband always beatsa nd maltreats her.

 

She said since he brought her to Lagos from Borno it has been slavery, as a result of which she had to leave the house to a church member’s place.

 

Mrs Philip said her only daughter sent a voice note to her asking her to come for her rescue if she doesn’t want her dad to get her pregnant.

 

Meanwhile, the 52 year old Mr Philip, a generator repairer who hails from Borno State claimed it’s a conspiracy between his daughter and mother since he had caught the mother with a man she calls her church member.

 

Mr Philip claims he had reported severally to her relatives but to no avail, stressing that he didn’t sleep with his daugther.

 

Some neighbours who spoke with Radio Nigeria said he was capable of doing it as he always beat the wife and maltreat her.

 

The neighbours said the mother of the little girl ran to them with the voice note, of her only daughter appealing to her to save her from further abuse .

 

Meanwhile a test was carried out that night in the military hospital when the man was arrested before being handed over to the police as the results showed that the man defiled the daughter.

Another test carried out by in LASUTH confirmed the ugly development.

 

Reports indicates that the IPO Gender unit Ketu police station rather than charging it to court has compromised by releasing the man to go and settle the family matter.
