Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says his administration will work with the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms by sharing data and opening its books in ensuring fruitful engagement to develop a thriving economy.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said this when the Chairman, Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call on him at the Lagos House, Marina.

The Governor thanked the delegation for agreeing to serve, hoping that they would put in their best abilities to take the country to a greater height, as well as achieve the aims and objectives of the committee.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said Lagos was working to enhance its revenue sources as it was interested in monitoring the activities of the committee.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, said the committee, which was inaugurated on the Eighth of August 2023, was on a stakeholders’ engagements to states with Lagos being the first as a model, with an objective to discuss with policy makers, ensure economic growth, fiscal policy, tax reform, as well as enhance revenue drive in the country.
