PROFILE OF THE HON. RESIDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER, INEC ONDO STATE, MRS OLUWATOYIN O. BABALOLA
Mrs Oluwatoyin O. Babalola, hails from Igbara Odo in Ekiti South-West Local Government, Ekiti State. She attended St. Louis Girls Grammar School, Ikere Ekiti and Federal Government Girls College, Akure for her secondary education.
Then, she proceeded to University of Ife where she bagged Bachelor of Law degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar in.
She also holds a Masters degree in Election Management. She is an Associate of the Dispute Resolution Institute (DRI) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC).
She joined the service of the then National Electoral Commission (NEC) as a Legal Officer in 1990 where she rose through the ranks and became the Director, Legal Services and Director, Legal Drafting and Clearance at INEC Headquarters until her appointment as Resident Electoral Commissioner
As a team player, she has over the years acquired Leadership and managerial skills which has greatly impacted on her ability to coordinate, motivate and mentor manpower to achieve set targets and deliver quality and professional service.
She has attended numerous trainings, seminars and conferences both locally and internationally.
She was a member of the Constitution and Electoral Reform Committee (Ken Nnamani Committee) and has served on various legal and electoral committees both within and outside INEC.
