The Acting Governor ,Lucky Ayedatiwa led the State Executive Council to the 2023 service of Carols and Nine lessons Organized by the Ondo state Government
The choirs rendered beautiful and melodious Christmas songs to usher the event
The ECWA Choir georgously dressed in white sang beautiful renditions as the Acting Governor read the Nineth lesson from the book of Genesis 1;26-31.
In his sermon at the event,the Diocesan Bishop of Akoko Anglican Diocese ,Right Reverend Jacob Bada clamoured for unity of the people of Ondo state to achieve the objective of greatness .
The Bishop stated that the people of the state should remember the lesson of the season to reconnect themselves and ensure unity of purpose to achieve development in all spheres .
In a message, the Acting Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa called for prayers and support of the people of the state to achieve development .
He urged residents of the state to celebrate Christmas with moderation and extend love to the poor around them.
According to Aiyedatiwa, the programme has become a divinely established platform for reading scriptures, songs and hymns rendition which highlights the fall of humanity, the promise of Messiah, the redemption of man to grace and the commission to share the good news with fellow men.
Aiyedatiwa assured residents that the current administration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu will continue to consolidate on its achievements through transformational projects such as roads, security, transportation, and health among others
The CAN chairman of Ondo state , Reverend father Anslem Ologunwa led a prayer session for the governor of the state ,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and urged the citizens to exercise more patience with their leaders .
