- Students of FUTA this morning staged a protest against frequent robbery they are being subjected to now and then.
The students protest had led to gridlock along ilésà Akure road.
This had affected many activities as people were stranded.
Speaking to positive FM, some of the students said they were protesting to save their lives from this underworld men.
The students said they wanted the school management and Ondo State government to do the needful to address the frequent robbery around FUTA North gate area.
They pointed out often time they found it difficult to receive security interventions whenever robbery incidents took place.
A motorist, Mr Enderance Daudu advised the government to provide security around the area to forestall this kind of disruption affecting the masses.
