I received with shock the news of the death of the former Chief of Staff to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Brigadier (Rtd) Jones Arogbofa
This death is a big loss to the people of Oka-Akoko, my Senatorial District, Ondo North, Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
I want to ,on behalf of the people of Ondo North Senatorial District ,commiserate with the Arogbofa family home and abroad.
I pray to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
I also recall the significant contributions of the late retired brigadier to the nation and Ondo State while in position of authority.
The late Chief of Staff was a Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army and died at the age of 71.
May God grant him eternal rest.
