Ondo State government is set to procure vehicles and gadgets for security agencies in the state to equip them and enhance safety of lives and properties in the state.
Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa disclosed this during a meeting with police authorities in the state , the commander of Amotekun corps and other heads of security agencies .
Governor Aiyedatiwa also spoke on the critical need to fortify the security architecture within the state, reiterating a commitment to supporting security agencies with necessary tools and resources.
In another development , Governor Aiyedatiwa has presented official vehicles to the speaker of the state house of assembly, Mr Olamide Oladiji, and deputy speaker, Mr Abayomi Akinruntan.
This is coming after Members of the House of Assembly already got their vehicles last year .
Responding,speaker of the assembly, Mr Olamide Oladiji said the vehicles would enhance their legislative responsibilities.
