The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, commiserates with the people of Oba Akoko in Akoko South West local government area over the passing of the Oloba of Oba, Oba (Alh.) Nurudeen Adeniyi Adegoroye.
Oba Adegoroye, who reigned for over 51 years on the Oloba stool, joined his ancestors on Sunday at the age of 92.
Governor Aiyedatiwa hails the late monarch’s contributions to the development of the town and preservation of its culture and tradition.
Leading the community for over five decades, the Governor says, exemplified the depth of the sacrifices Oba Adegoroye made for his subjects.
The Governor prays for the repose of the soul of the late monarch and comforts his family and the people of the community.
