Non- indigenes residents in Ondo State have been assured of equal access to the socio-economic programmes of the State Government and equally be beneficiaries of government incentives and empowerment programmes.
The Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami, who spoke in Akure while playing host to representatives of Ebira community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, stated that the present administration under the leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa would apply equal measure to all law-abiding citizens and residents of the state.
Dr Adelami said everyone irrespective of tribe and tongue must feel at home in Ondo State provided their presence in the Sunshine State has no criminal motivation.
He said: “Ondo State is a peaceful state. Our people are peace loving and very accommodating. Our administration under Governor Aiyedatiwa will always provide equal access to a better life for both indigenes and non-indigenes.
“We implore you to always provide us with instantaneous information to nip every security threat in the bud to ensure the safety of lives and property in the state”.
The Deputy Governor who appreciated the Ebira Community for their solidarity with the Aiyedatiwa Administration said they will not regret supporting the government.
Earlier in its address delivered by Pharmacist Olumisi Isah, the Ebira Community in Owo Local Government Area appreciated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for choosing Dr Olayide Adelami,mni, as his Deputy Governor.
