Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has declared his administration’s readiness to work with the National Emergency Management Agency NEMA for onward distribution of grains to the beneficiaries as directed by President Bola Tinubu.

The Deputy Governor Dr Olayide Adelami made the remarks while receiving the Zonal Director of NEMA, Southwest, Mr. Stephen Adewale, in his office in Akure

Dr Adelami commended The National Economic Council (NEC) directive that the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) should immediately distribute grains to states within one or two weeks to bring down the prices of food items across the country.

He also appreciated the leadership of President Tinubu for the initiative aimed at alleviating the economic hardship

Earlier, the Agency’s Southwest Zonal Director , Mr. Stephen Adewale said the grains for Ondo state as directed by President Bola Tinubu would soon arrive urging the state government to as a matter of urgency constitute a committee for the effective distribution of the grains.
