Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa says his predecessor , late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu prophesied that the he will be the next governor.

Governor Ayedatiwa made this known when he received APC elders forum from the eighteen local government areas of the state at governor’s office Alagbaka Akure

He solicited the support of the elders noting that elders had great role in sustaining the party to ensure victory in the upcoming election .

The governor maintained that he was mentally, physically and spiritually ready to contest the election.

 

Speaking of his administration’s feats in few months of being in office, the Governor Ayedatiwa said aside the return of contractors to sites, he approved the construction of sixty kilometre of internal roads , patching of potholes and returning Akure back to its cleanest status.

 

He added that over one thousand teachers for primary and secondary schools would soon be employed

Responding , deputy leader of the elders forum , Alhaji Jamiu Ekungba and some of the elders including Senator Ajayi Borofice, Ambassador Sola Iji appreciated the governor for his developmental plans and pledged to support his aspiration.
