The Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Information Hon. Olugbenga Omole has solicited a robust partnership between the Ondo State government and media outfits in the state towards promoting security, peace and good governance in the state.

 

The Special Adviser, during the first leg of his media tour, interfaced with Management staff of media outfits within Akure metropolis and environs.

 

While pledging government patronage to all media stations in the state without any form of bias,he appreciated media executives in the state for their support to government in the past and assured them of a new dawn in terms of robust engagement.

 

Fielding questions on the current hardship in the country, Hon. Omole pleaded for patience on the part of citizens and residents of the state,saying that the Ayedatiwa administration is barely three months in the saddle.

 

According to the Special Adviser, government is finalizing plans to address the hyper inflation and resultant hunger ravaging the land.

 

While assuring of better days ahead, Hon. Omole noted that despite the current electioneering in the air, governance will not suffer.

 

The first port of call was the Owena Press the Publisher of Hope Newspaper the Chairman and Managing Director Sir Ademola Adetula, represented by the Editor, Pastor Akin Adubuola noted that the company has had to manage crucial challenges to stay afloat.

 

Also receiving the team,the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Glow 99.1 FM, Chief Ezekiel Akande who described Akogun Omole as a strong backbone for the Ayedatiwa administration assured of the station’s support always.

 

The General Manager of Adaba 88.9 FM, Sir Martins Ayoola promised that the station will go extra mile to support the Ayedatiwa government on account of the existing cordial relationship between the Special Adviser and the station.

 

The former lawmaker was also warmly received by the Management teams of Empire 104.5 FM and Fresh 102.9 FM where he featured live and enunciated the good works of the Ayedatiwa administration.

 

Also receiving the SA, the Group Chief Operating Officer of Crest 106.1 FM, Mr. Adeolu Gboyega, the GM of NTA, Mrs Olubunmi Oke, the GM of FRCN Positive 102.5 FM, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere as well as their Breeze 91.1 FM counterpart, Mr. Sunday Ajongolo assured the visitor of their readiness to partner with the state government.

 

They however made known their requests to government which the Special Adviser promised to forward to the State Governor for attention.

 

The Special Adviser on Information was accompanied on the trips by the Administrative Secretary and other Management staff of the Ministry.

 

The second leg of the media tour will later take the Special Adviser to OSRC Media Group and other media outfits outside Akure, the state capital.
