A governorship Aspirant on the platform of the All progressives congress, APC in Ondo state, Hon Olugbenga Edema says he will give priority attention to education, health, security and welfare of  workers if elected.

 

Hon Edema stated this while featuring on Radio Nigeria positive FM program “Guest of the week”.

 

Hon Edema, a former member of the Ondo state house of assembly said his ambition to become governor was to bring accountability and transparency into governance with the hope that such would translate into meaningful development.

He promised to ensure that Ondo deep sea port becomes operational as the license was already secured by the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s administration.

 

The former OSOPADEC boss while acknowledging the leadership of the party said he was working hard to win the party’s ticket come April 20, 2024 when the primary election would be held.

“I enjoy profound relationship with the leadership of the party both at the state and national levels but those who purchased form for me out of goodwill are on the field working for me, they will not want their investment to go down the drain, so I’m confident that if the party gives us a direct primary, I will get the ticket”- Edema said.

Hon Edema was of the believe that his track records as a former lawmaker, OSOPADEC Boss and NDDC Commissioner would assist him in picking the APC’s Guber Ticket.
