A yet-to-be identified man was on crushed to death by a truck in Ondo city, Ondo West Local Government area of the state.
It was gathered that the incident occured around noon at Oke- Igbala junction in Odojomu area, Ondo City.
The deceased who was around 20 years of age was alleged to be riding a lady’s bike recklessly before ramming into a truck which led to his untimely death.
An eyewitness, who identified himself as Dele, said the victim who was on high speed rammed into a moving truck.
He said the truck driver tried his best not to hit the boy on the bike, but the truck did not stop but knocked down the boy on his bike and crushed him to death.
According to Bayo Akinmusire, the boy on bike was on high speed and we don’t know what happened to the boy when he suddenly faced the truck that is coming and the truck driver crushed him because he can no longer control the truck.
Another eyewitness, James, a commercial tricyclist, described the sudden death of the boy as horrific.
