Two students who were previously abducted from the Federal University Wukari (FUW) in Taraba State have been released.
According to Mrs. Ashu Agbu, the Head of Information and Protocol at the institution, the aforementioned students were released on the night of Thursday, April 11, 2024, after being held captive for an undisclosed number of days.
Mrs. Ashu Agya told Radio Nigeria that N700,000 was paid as ransom against their earlier request of N50 million naira and that the students are currently in good health.
