The Chairman of the commission, Retired Justice Williams Akintoroye gave the stern warning at a Media parley in Akure
The Retired Chief Judge described corruption as a serious problem impeding good governance and a disease that could only be treated by transparency.
He however disclosed that the Commission would approach all corruption related issues without bias
Retired Justice Akintoroye therefore solicited the cooperation of the media, the security and law enforcement agencies as well as other relevant stakeholders towards a corrupt-free society.
Explaining the mandate of the commission, the secretary, Professor Adewole Adewoye said it was established in 2022, by the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to combat all forms of corruption in the state, including bribery, fraud, undue influence, gratification and other related offences.
