The Kano state Government has Re-Instated Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano.
Governor Abba Yusuf Disclosed that while briefing journalists shortly after assenting to the reviewed Emirate Bill.
He said the gesture was aimed at restoring the lost glory of the Kano Emirate Council.
The Governor directed all the affected Emirs to submit the palaces and submit all government belongings in their possession to the commissioner of local government and chieftaincy affairs within 48 hours.
He assured the people of the state of his administration’s commitment in ensuring peaceful coexistence, and urged the general public to go about their legitimate businesses peacefully.
