The Dorcas and Joseph charity Organisation, has been launched as a non-governmental organisation in Akure, Ondo state capital.
The event also witnessed the second quarter of the year cares outreach.
Speaking at the event, the chief executive officer, Dorcas and Joseph charity organisation, Comrade Folorunso Oladipo called on well meaning Nigerians to always reach out to the needy in the society.
Comrade Oladipo during the event held at the hope orphanage, Shagari village Akure said many Nigerians were helpless hence the need for assistance.
Comrade Oladipo who said he became an orphan after his primary education explained that the gesture was to give back to the helpless and to also make the children have a sense of belonging.
Describing the assignment as divine, Chairman of the occasion, evangelist Ayo Ikulanberu and another dignitary, evangelist Tayo Ojuoromi encouraged comrade Oladipo to keep the flag flying noting that children were the heritage of God.
Responding, the director, hope orphanage who harped on feedback to the donors also advised comrade Oladipo on sincerity, faithfulness and accountability.
Highpoints of the event included children presentation, bible memory verse, image documentation group photographs and presentation of gifts to the orphanage home popularly called my father’s house for kids.
