Ahead of the November governorship election, A political group , Sure Advocacy for Better Ondo State, SABOS, has adopted the candidacy of governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the APC stating the governor is the best the state can produce at the moment.
Addressing newsmen in Akure the state capital, the Director General of SABOS, Mr Yunus Adogba said the central executive council of the group had unanimously agreed to work together towards ensuring the victory of governor Aiyedatiwa with the belief that he would turn the state around for good if elected.
Mr Yunus directed all organs and supporters of SABOS to brace for the task ahead towards ensuring Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Victory.
He however called on the governor to intensify efforts towards improving the living standard of the people at the grassroots through provision of basic amenities.
Mr Adogba who lamented the high level of unemployment and poverty among residents of Ondo State also asked governor Aiyedatiwa to focus on empowerment of small scale businesses to boost the state economy.
The SABOS Director General also cautioned all political gladiators against disrupting the existing peace in the state during and after the forthcoming governorship election.
