Ondo State House of Assembly has changed security agencies in Ondo East Local government
to continue to beef up security in the area in order to forestall braking down of law and order.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Olamide Oladiji and some members gave the charge in his office during a meeting with Security Heads working in the local government.
- In a statement by the Chairman, House Committee on Information, chief Olatunji Oshati , the House was reacting to the recent arson that occurred in the local government, calling on all hands to be on deck to forestall future occurrence.
While advising security agents to ensure synergy and work as a team to achieve positive results, the speaker tasked them to dig deep into the immediate and remote causes of the unfortunate incident.
He further, explained that it was only in an atmosphere of peace that a meaningful development can take place, saying that anybody that disrupts peace in the area would be made to face the full weight of law .
Describing the people in the area as hardworking and business oriented, Mr Oladiji called for a peaceful coexistence among them in other to bring about more developments.
