The Ondo State government has expressed support for the National Youth Service Corps NYSC in the State to achieve its major aims .
Governor Aiyedatiwa made this known during the official swearing-in ceremony of the 2024 Batch B (Stream 1) NYSC members, at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ikare-Akoko.
The governor urged the new corps members to prepare themselves for the challenging yet fulfilling tasks of contributing to national development while his administration would ensure security and improved on their welfare while in the state.
Addressing concerns about the infrastructure deficit at the orientation ,
Governor Ayedatiwa promised prompt action to upgrade the facilities.
Earlier in an address, State Coordinator of NYSC Ondo State, Mr. Samuel Pepple said a total of 1,423 corps members, comprising 607 males and 816 females were registered to serve in Ondo State.
