Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa says his administration is currently engaging investors to revive Ifon Ceramic Company, Okitipupa Oil Palm Limited and other moribund industries across Ondo state for improved economy.

The Governor stated this while speaking with some business partners and religious leaders in his office Alagbaka Akure.

Mr Aiyedatiwa said the decision to revive the companies was for his administration to provide employment opportunities for the youth.

The governor further stated that there was an ongoing efforts to reach agreement with other investors in developing the Sea Port, bitumen exploration and waste to energy initiative.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also used the avenue to thank religious leaders in the state for their supplications urging them to maintain peaceful coexistence with other faiths.

Responding, The Chairman,Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ondo state chapter Reverend Anselm Ologunwa expressed gratitude to the governor for organizing the meeting and recognizing the contributions of religious leaders.

The Chief Imam of Akure, Sheik Abdulhakeem Yayi Akorede, also commended the governor for his efforts at sustaining peace in the state.
