Prof Is’haq Oloyede, The Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Professor Is’haq Oloyede has faulted the unbundling of Mass Commincation in Nigeria tertiary institution .
Oloyede made the disclosure while delivering his address at the 15th Year Anniversary Celebration of the University of Ilorin 89.3FM Radio Station held at the Institutions permanent site in Ilorin.
He said speacialization should be restricted at the Post Graduate level to allow for flexibility.
Oloyede said the nation is still developing, adding that it has not attained the level for such development.
According to him the country has many graduates looking for jobs, noting that narrowing down their opportunity to a particular discipline would limit thier chances of getting employed.
Oloyede explained that there is the need to be broader, giving the level of our under development.
For his part the Vice Chancellor University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole, commended the achievement of the campus radio since establishment 15 years ago.
He said the University will continue to ensure that the radio continues to develop and excel further, despite all odds,
