The Olujigba of Ijigba in Akure South local government area of Ondo State, Oba Luyi Rotimi has installed a retired Deputy director in Ondo state, Mrs Yemisi Olakojo as Iyeoma of Ijigba land.
At the ceremony which showcased the culture and tradition of yoruba people, the Olujigba said the chieftaincy title was bestowed on Mrs Olakojo because of her inspiring track records in culture and media sectors
He encouraged her to use her influence to attract development to the community.
While urging well meaning Nigerians to come and invest in Ijigba, Oba Luyi Rotimi thanked the state government for the recognition accorded the community.
He sought the intervention of government in the area of health care, power supply and good road network.
The Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa who was represented by the commissioner for physical planning and urban Development, Mr Gbenga Olaniyi said government would continue to ensure even distribution of resources to all communities.
The new Iyeoma of Ijigba land, Chief (Mrs) Yemisi Olakojo, thanked the traditional ruler for the honour and promised to influence support for the community.
