Senator Jide Ipinsagba, representing Ondo North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has empowered one hundred women in Owo/Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The initiative, aimed at mitigating the effects of economic hardship on women and youths, provided each participant with a grant to establish their businesses.
The programme, held in Owo, was designed to equip women with the skills and resources needed to become entrepreneurs and contribute to the local economy.
The training sessions covered topics such as business management, marketing, and financial literacy, in addition to Akara chips production.
Speaking at the event, Senator Ipinsagba represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Layi Yusuf emphasized the importance of empowering women and youths in the region.

“This program is part of our efforts to reduce poverty and promote economic growth in Ondo North Senatorial District.”
The senator promised to continue the initiative, focusing primarily on women and youths in the region.
“We will continue to support our women and youths, providing them with the resources they need to succeed,” he said.
